Terms of Service

General conditions under which Neofera Care provides its professional neonatal care services in the Dominican Republic.

Last updated: March 2026.

By requesting, quoting or hiring the professional services of Neofera Care, the client (the parents or legal guardians) fully accepts these Terms and Conditions.

1. Nature of the Service

Neofera Care is a company dedicated to the provision of home nursing care, focusing exclusively on the neonatal area. Our professionals are trained to provide support, accompaniment, and assistance in newborn care.

Important notice: Our services DO NOT substitute pediatric medical consultations, clinical diagnosis, or treatment prescribed by the baby's attending pediatrician. In case of serious emergencies, we will act under first aid protocols and alert the national emergency care system (9-1-1).

2. Coverage and Availability

  • Currently, services are provided solely and exclusively in the National District and the Province of Santo Domingo.
  • Schedules are agreed in advance through a quote, choosing between Morning, Afternoon, or Night shifts.
  • Confirmation of the start of services is subject to the availability of staff on the requested dates.

3. Obligations of Parents/Guardians

To guarantee the correct provision of the service, the family must:

  • Provide all truthful information regarding the newborn's health status.
  • Provide the necessary supplies for the baby's care (diapers, creams, towels, formula/breast milk, bottles, etc.).
  • Immediately notify any medical change or unusual symptomatology previously reported by your pediatrician.
  • Ensure a safe and dignified environment for the nurse to perform their duties.

4. Payments and Cancellations

  • Rates will be established through a formal quote upon evaluation of the request.
  • The start of the service requires advance payment of the percentage agreed upon in the quote.
  • Cancellations or shift modifications must be notified at least 24 hours in advance. In case of late cancellation, an administrative fee may apply.

5. Civil Liability

Although Neofera Care abides by the highest standards of professional care and patient safety, the company will not be criminally or civilly liable for unforeseen health conditions, genetic diseases, congenital diseases or unforeseen situations arising from the clinical nature of the baby beyond the human control of the staff.

6. Jurisdiction

Any discrepancy or dispute related to these terms or the services provided will be resolved mutually and in good faith. If this is not possible, both parties will submit to the applicable laws and competent courts of the Dominican Republic.
